Still tormented by the past's uncomfortable memories, decades after surviving the harsh winter at the Overlook Hotel in The Shining (1980), it's only natural that a now-sad Dan Torrance has grown up into an alcoholic and a drifter. Awesome movie. One the best this year. 2 and half hour, just passed by. It's that good. I kept on thinking about Pokemon type effectiveness during this movie. Like ghosts are super effective against psychic types but Rose the Hat was almost more of a dark type. Full movie on min yi sang 2017. Read both books. Loved both books. Loved the movie (even though it was different from the book, Kubrick did a good job. If any of you watched the Haunting of Hill House, creator of that show Mike Flanagan is directing this movie. Great pick. This movie is supposed to follow in the same cinematic universe as the movie version of The Shining, but this still looks great. Very excited.

Its sad to see how people didnt support this movie at the box office; audiences nowadays attend pointless crap at the movies ; because I absolutely loved this film. Doctor sleep, so i am a big fan of King but still an amateur one. But once i saw the trailer of this, i was really excited abut it and went on first day first show and bang. It is exactly what a suspense thriller horror fan wants, a creepy premise, a hero with pure heart and a devilish villain(and sexy too) and a tight story. Yes this muvi kept me hooked for the whole runtime. Ewan mcgregor did a good job but somehow i feel someone may have done better. All actors are good here. Story moves at a good pace and doesnt bore at all. This is a real treat for king fans, mind it, go and watch please. Also respect for Mike Flanagan, for directing this great movie.

Great cast, a really good adaptation of this Stephen King novel. Rebecca Ferguson and Ewen puts out a great performances. I was hoping the hotel scenes would be more creepy and the bar scene was especially lacking. Besides those 2 complaints the movie was entertaining and creepy enough to follow up on the Shinning.
